I'm glad you stopped by! This blog chronicles my experiences living in and adopting from Russia. It was a six-year journey that doubled the size of my family. I adopted my daughter, then age 6, from Moskovskaya Oblast. Now we're back in the USA and no longer posting from Russia.

That is so something I would do. I finally figured out my blogger name.
Ha! I do love that! I wish we would ALL have found some news here!
I just remembered what this reminded me of. A few years ago I did a television series on religious topics - five-minute educational pieces that were aired after the Diocese's television Mass. I didn't just READ these things, I researched and wrote them. At any rate, a year or two after they aired I was asked to watch them and make note of any points where I would want them to add a title underneath, or a Scripture citation or something. So I am watching these things, but also going about my work, cleaning my office... Then I got involved in the topic, and heard myself say (out loud, mind you) - "I never knew that!" A couple of moments passed before I realized that it was ME saying it! OK, I guess I DID know that - at one time. Dumb!
