Here's a perk to international teaching: I'm accompanying the middle school knowledge bowl team to their competition. In Warsaw.
We leave tomorrow and will be back late Sunday. THEN, we have spring break.

(P.S. I've been to Warsaw...airport. Being part Polish, I always wanted to see it, but mostly my experience was running to my connection and a quick glance out the window: "oh, look! There's Poland!"

Cool! My passport says I've been to Poland, but it was a matter of walking across the border from Goerlitz, Germany, looking around for a few minutes (not much to see), and walking back. I'd like to go for real sometime.
