I'm glad you stopped by! This blog chronicles my experiences living in and adopting from Russia. It was a six-year journey that doubled the size of my family. I adopted my daughter, then age 6, from Moskovskaya Oblast. Now we're back in the USA and no longer posting from Russia.

She and Nathan just HAVE to meet sometime! I think that's on his mind all the time too! "lick ice cream" and then does the actions...
And what a great thing to be thinking about! (мороженое was one of our best-pronounced words when we were in St. Pete in summer!)
I think about ice cream sometimes too. =)

I just watched a short video of a friend's daughter who is four months home from China. She talks about all that she is thankful for... her new house, mama, baba, doggies, school, ballet lessons... and then her eyes light up and she adds "ice cream!"
Glad that Lexi is having such happy thoughts.
