OOOOH my goodness. That is just way too adorable. Having all that cute in one place.... wow! My favorite is Lexi singing the numbers, I was really laughing out loud. So darling!
Hurray! We needed a Lexi Fix. All of us gathered around the little screen to watch. She is darling, The boys especially liked the 1,2, buckle my shoe. And I loved how she skips 13. And Audrey liked the little fairy.
I checked your blog during my students rest time, the sound was very loud, and my kids starting singing along. One student asked what "show" that little girl is on??? TOo cute! My favorite is the
Cough cough, "oops"! And my coteacher thought she was gorgie!! I showed her your blog and she spent our rest time, in tears reading your blog. She said she bet bunches of families were fighting to get a child that was so pretty!! (she also said, how lucky that you were in Russia when you adopted, she thought the process must have been MUUUUCCHHH easier.) Go ahead and laugh! She didn't quite understand!!
THANK YOU for sharing your winsome pixie with us :) She is a treasure. And, I really get what you mean about 'really learning it' feeling somewhat bittersweet!
How enjoyable, thanks for sharing. I know what you mean about not wanting to correct them or for them to learn the correct way. It is just too cute the things they say you want to keep it that way forever.

I'm glad you stopped by! This blog chronicles my experiences living in and adopting from Russia. It was a six-year journey that doubled the size of my family. I adopted my daughter, then age 6, from Moskovskaya Oblast. Now we're back in the USA and no longer posting from Russia.
March 2006: adoption officially begins! blah. blah. blah. March 2008: starting over with "new agency" May 2008: paperwork to US July 2008: paperwork in Russia September 2008: possiblity... November 2008: improbability. December 3, 2008: 1000 days! February 2009: MOE approval! May 2009: "the call" (which was actually an e-mail.) June 2009: trip one July 2009: a visit September 2009: court 1294 days after March 2006:together!

Love it!
I also was singing along with her during her counting.
Hearing her Russian accent also really takes me back. It is the inflection.

My favorite is the animated "Wee Willie Winkie" with Lexi tapping on the windows and whispering "are the children in their beds?" So cute.
Also loved hearing her Russian accent and the number "twenty-nie-en."
Fabulous footage :) She is just so so cute!!!
ABC - yeah for Lexie!
So very sweet! What a little charmer; I especially love the prolonged "eeeee" at the end of the alphabet, heehee. She is just darling :)
Wow, HUGE progress! She has the most adorable accent too!
She is adorable. Love her counting song. :-)
