perfect setting

I thought today's misty walk through the park would be a perfect setting for a photo. It wasn't raining, the light was diffused, the park was empty...

Lexi thought it was a perfect setting to burst into song.
(Well, she is, after all, my daughter.)

Mist-inspired songs about people who were so sad and crying and the sky commenced. And, you know, songs about trees and babies and the tired man sit, sit, sit on the bench because he is tired, tired, tired...and whatever caught her eye and her consciousness.

Fortunately, the artist threw a bone to her fans. (Hmm...that seems to imply that we, her fans, are dogs.)

Those pictures are priceless!!! Love the one of her looking up to the sky. THAT one needs framed! :)
Sorry I've been so quiet lately...but I've been reading, honest!

She is entirely too precious! And I agree, the one of looking upwards needs to be framed.

Look at her! Her face- it has changed and I mean a LOT! She really is a gorgeous child, and those changes are all you.
Genea used to sing like that too, only she would sing about us. Like, Mama wears undies and Teena wears undies from the laundry and Daddy too and so do I but Mama wears BIG undies ...
Not quite as charming!

Isn't it funny how we all end up with the children who are perfect for us?!

The last picture is so sweet. I've always loved her eyes and dimples, but now notice how pretty her lips are. Gorgeous, indeed.

How fun it is that she has your "dramatic" streak. I think that singing openly in the park is also a sign of her growing confidence in herself.

I'm so sorry - I laughed! She looks like she is preparing for Grand Opera - gestures and all! What a natural for the theatre! And the EXPRESSION!

You have selected her clothes with such care - the colors are lovely on her.

The setting is beautiful; I love a cloudy day....

Just had such a good time looking at those pictures. Thanks so much for sharing them!

She's adorable, Kate! And I agree with the others, the change in her face is incredible. Truly a reflection of God's grace and a mother's love.

Thank you for sharing this. And Happy Thanksgiving!

The longer she has been with you, the more beautiful Lexi gets. Honestly, it's like she is lit from within. And I just love that she bursts into song!

Oh, gosh. I can just picture her on stage. Yup, she's YOURS.

Happy Thanksgiving to you both!

just gorgeous. She looks like a little model in that last shot. Do you have an urge to send that photo to whoever it was at court that said she was "not attractive" or whatever it was??

Love the spontaneous singing too. I mean, I love it for *your*, it would drive me around the bend in mine. Hee.

She's so free. I'm happy about that and happy to see her singing with such Lexiness.
