spot the reason

Why is this photo blogworthy?

Look closer. But not at the cluttered counter or the pile of orphanage donations in the window, please. Look at the table.

It's not that kookla got sick and needed a hot water bottle. It's not that Mouse forgot to clear her plate. It's not the cute penguin slippers that don't stay on under the table. It's this:

Lexi decided to not finish her muffin at breakfast but to save it for later!

Mama is now keeping a see-through container at every meal so we can put in what we want to save for later. If it doesn't need to be refrigerated, it stays at Lexi's place. If it does, she will put it in the 'fridge.

We had a great day!

This part actually reminds me of Fin - she would stick her hand in my purse to make sure i always had a baggie of cheerios with me. I did. Always.

My daughter bought a kinderchair for her kids and it is great.

Before I finished reading your blog, I thought you were going to say how nice it is to have a mommy chair and a child chair at your table.

Was just thinking about food issues today. Anastasia has every reason to hoard food, or overeat, but she does none of that. However, she WILL have major melt-downs over food.

Working on it.....

Hmm I had sort of forgotten about that stage. We had saran wrap covered plates in the fridge for weeks. Good for Lexi for beginning to get a handle on this one, it's a biggie.

awesome and I love the educational place-mats. We have had many similar ones, now we have one with presidents and Livi is memorizing them.

Lexi is just glowing with health in that picture.. she looks so happy too
