Here's how we said good-bye to April. This is the Field of Mars (note to s: It's where the Tsars used to review their troops and is now a large park.) yesterday on my way to school. That's the Summer Garden in the background. They just took the boxes off the statues last week.
After seeing all the garden photos lately, I thought you'd like to see the tulips I pass each day.

Amazing pictures!
Interesting that the whole time we were doing our adoption, I had my little desktop weather widgets for St. Petersburg and Our Town, Michigan right next to each other, and they were always so remarkably similiar....until now. Weird coincidence. Sorry your tulips are covered in snow (although it does make for great photography), and hope you get a real spring soon, too!
Yikes. It was 60 degrees here yesterday and we were in shorts.
But why don't I see a picture of your car in the field of Mars??? LOL
Hope you are hanging in there - still praying for you-
Ok, BUURRRRR! The pictures are quite lovely though, really.
I was also hoping to see a photo of your car in the Field of mars. :)
Beautiful! I especially like the photo of the lane lined with trees. But then I've always been a lane lined with trees kind of gal. My favorite picture of Q-ball is when we were adopting Punky and JacJac and he was walking ahead of us on a path in Syktyvkar. In that one picture everything came together...he was walking in his homeland and was running off to meet his new brother and sister. To me...beautiful!
BTW - I was kind of hoping to see your cars in Mars too! ;)
The daffodils were just starting to come up in Perm last week... about 2" high. I think they were the only green things I saw that were not evergreens! I'm hoping for much prettier landscapes when I go back in a couple of months!
Oh how beautiful! Russia is such a special place to us..just seeing such pictures or hearing someone speaking Russian in a store makes my heart warm...I hope to come back someday (I especially would like to come to St. Petersburg as we were told Hannah had an older sister who resides there. Sadly, we have no more info, no names, but I'd like to think it is not coincindense that her little sister lives in St. Petersburg, FL..oh sorry I am rambling now...thanks again for the pics!
wow, you still have a lot of snow! - It's beautiful. So when does it finally get warm (warm enough to keep the snow away)?
