I'm glad you stopped by! This blog chronicles my experiences living in and adopting from Russia. It was a six-year journey that doubled the size of my family. I adopted my daughter, then age 6, from Moskovskaya Oblast. Now we're back in the USA and no longer posting from Russia.

You need to feed that girl! She's sooo skinny!
Rita didn't change dramatically at first like I thought she might but looking back over the last 18 months she has gained over 15 lbs. She was 48 lbs; now 63ish. She has gone from size 5 to size 8 (sometimes size 10) in that timeframe. Her feet have grown from 12.5 to 2.5 or 3.
