Yesterday, second grade went on a wet and windy field trip to Vyborg Castle. It's a Swedish medieval castle (as per our guide) in what was once a Finish city. Vyborg is lovely! It has a very not-in-Russia feel to the layout and architecture.

Is that a museum or ??
It's a medieval castle.
How fun!!!
The only medieval castle around here features a dinner show!
I think I saw this castle on Ghost Hunters...(haha, just kidding!)...in case you don't know what that is, it's this TV show where these "paranormal" experts travel all over the world to research haunted places. Generally they find that there is nothing haunted about a place, just old pipes and bad insulation from outside noise :)
Gorgeous! Nothing like that here in the burbs of CT.
I was there! . . . in 1992 . . . ya know, it used to be in Finland . . .
