sharing an oddment

During my recent sick-in-bed-for-nine-days I was looking for some light reading. I decided to read the Harry Potter series in order. That made me think I should do the same with the films. I found out there are five of them. (I thought there were four.) I drove ALL over the city and checked out all sorts of places that sell dvd's.

Prisoner of Azkaban is not available in English. Anywhere. All the others are, but not that one. Strange, huh? It makes me wonder why. In the kateish universe everything has a reason--no matter how convoluted or obscure.

(I got the other four and ordered PoA from am@zon.co.uk. It should be here soon.)

Just found that a little odd and had to share...

Very odd. Can't imagine why they don't sell that one there.

The 5th one came out a couple of weeks ago.

Enjoy reading/watching.

Watched the latest one last night and DH really liked it the best thus far...enjoy watching them...I like them all and it is odd to watch the characters REALLY grow up

Girl, you read ALL 5 of those books while you were sick? You are speedy!!!

I've only seen 2 of the movie - am very behind -- but this is inspiring. perhaps I'll Netflix up a little HP movie festival of my own. :-)

That is so funny you mentioned that. My husband will hopefully be joining us back in reality soon when he finishes the 7th. He decided to read all the books in the series in order too... and has become quite skilled at long disappearing acts to quiet places. Hmmm... will that work for me?

Anna and Daniel call it "Gary Potter." They saw some of them in Russia... I think only the first 2.

I got Harry Potter 5 on DVD for Christmas, and it was the best gift! I love that movie! Hope you can get your hands on it too.

You make me think that perhaps I should read all the books again....

Glad you're feeling better.

Emily and I are both reading the books and then watching the movies. We are up to #5 now. She finished it a while ago and I just started it. Eric got the DVD for Christmas so that motivated me to get reading. We have #6 and #7 (books) and it is very hard not to peek at the end. But I haven't! Love, Nif
